Vodafone directs customers to their perfect plan
- Online ‘solution finder’ eliminates cap confusion by helping customers to choose the right mobile phone plan to meet their individual needs -
Vodafone Australia today launched an innovative, new web tool called ‘Vodafone Finder’, making it easier than ever for customers to select a mobile phone plan to meet their individual needs. Vodafone Finder is available online at:

Vodafone Finder is free to use and cuts through the complexity and confusion of choosing a mobile cap or plan. Customers complete a simple online questionnaire, which requires them to nominate their average number of calls and text messages per day, average call time, as well as their preferences for mobile internet and mobile email. Customers can even choose their preferred mobile handset manufacturer. Vodafone Finder then automatically compares all Vodafone plans against customers’ preferences to provide a very specific selection of plans and caps that meet their individual needs.
“In trying to cater to every conceivable type of customer, the Australian mobile industry has created hundreds of mobile caps and plans, which can make it difficult for customers to choose the cap that’s right for them,” said Edward Goff, General Manager, Consumer Markets at Vodafone Australia. “Vodafone Finder is a common sense approach to marketing that uses some very clever technology to make it as simple as possible to find the right cap.”

Vodafone Finder was designed by Australian digital consultant,
Kineo, who worked with
Alpha Salmon for the innovative technical implementation. Both
Kineo and
Alpha Salmon worked with Vodafone to analyse current consumer offerings, behaviour and insights before designing and developed the online application.
